NEWSLETTER PLACEMENT RECOVERY KIT v1.0
Free independent operating packet / English / US Letter / 2026-10-19

WHO IT IS FOR
An independent newsletter publisher or small ad-operations team handling
one booked placement that may have run incorrectly or failed to run.
Not a sponsor acquisition system, newsletter CRM, insertion order or contract.

RESULT
Keep one case record connecting the unchanged original promise, actual
exception, separately authorized recovery plan, delivered proof and open work.
Use one case copy per original placement. A multi-placement campaign needs
separate copies plus your own campaign index; this file does not reconcile
multiple placements, allocate inventory or calculate a make-good amount.

START
1. Read Recovery_Quick_Guide.pdf and Fictional_Worked_Example.pdf.
2. Download Newsletter_Placement_Recovery_Workbook.pdf. Open it in a
form-capable PDF reader, not just an image preview. Save As a case copy.
3. Fill pages 1 and 2 from actual booking and sent evidence. Keep the original
creative and destination intact. Do not overwrite them with corrections.
4. Review the actual terms and seek an authorized decision. Enter a proposed
plan on page 3 only as a proposal. Check real availability and current offer
validity. Record internal and sponsor approvals; silence is not approval.
5. After the real recovery work, complete page 4 with proof, reporting window,
sponsor response and remaining action. Proposed or scheduled is not delivered.
6. Save, close and reopen. Check that every typed value remains visible. Reader
support varies; native Acrobat, browser readers and mobile are unverified.
If a reader cannot save forms, use Editable_Case_Form.txt in any text editor.

BOUNDED TEXT
Fields do not grow or auto-flow. Use Enter to insert line breaks in larger
fields if your reader does not wrap; keep all text visibly inside the box.
Short fields are limited to 140 characters,
larger fields to 360; visible capacity can be lower, depending on words and
reader behavior. Keep concise references, reopen and visually inspect. Put
long notes in your own attached case document; do not hide text in a scroll box
and assume it will appear in print. All 48 field names are unique within a copy.

KEEP THESE STATES DISTINCT
OWNER REVIEW: a response has not been authorized.
PROPOSED: not approved or booked; a tentative hold is not a delivered placement.
APPROVED - NOT YET RUN: approvals recorded, actual inventory still checked.
RAN - EVIDENCE / RESPONSE PENDING: delivery is not closure.
OPEN - NEXT ACTION: a named person and next review date remain.
CLOSED - AGREED WORK EVIDENCED: internal record status only, not a legal release.
If the plan changes, retain the old version and release superseded slot holds
in the real inventory system. This PDF does neither action for you.

METRICS
Record source, capture time and observation window. Unknown is not zero.
Keep original and rerun metrics separate; do not sum overlapping audiences
as unique readers or treat opens/clicks as sales. No external metrics are fetched.

LIMITS AND PRIVACY
Manual record only. No automatic checking, booking, sending, reminders,
tracking, billing, credits, refunds, entitlement decisions or legal advice.
The terms, platform rules and authorized human decisions remain authoritative.
No guaranteed sponsor retention, revenue, response or dispute resolution.
Keep subscriber lists, credentials, tokens, private payment details and sensitive
personal information out. Use secure evidence references and share a redacted
copy containing only what the recipient needs. Typed names are record entries,
not verified digital signatures. No links in the fictional example are live proof.

CONTENTS
4-page fillable workbook; 4-page static fictional example; 1-page quick guide;
1-page free pre-rerun checklist; editable text case form; six message drafts;
this guide; license. The PDFs are not a spreadsheet or an automated validator.

TESTED SCOPE
See Owner QA for generated structure, all-field save/reopen data checks,
rendered page inspection and ZIP validation. No independent publisher use,
physical printing, native Acrobat/mobile or sponsor acceptance test yet.
AI-assisted original content and design; no customer testimonial is included.
