WHAT TO OPEN
Extract the ZIP into a folder. Open Market_Day_Change_Test.html in a desktop
browser with JavaScript enabled. Do not open only a ZIP preview. No Python,
account, subscription, internet connection or external library is required.
The HTML is the working product; the JSON file is optional example data.

YOUR FIRST REPLAY
1. Click Load fictional example and confirm replacement.
2. Click Run the change test.
3. Expect a stop at sale 2. Opening float: $15.00; completed-sale receipts:
$12.00; ending drawer: $27.00. Only the first sale was completed.
4. In Opening float, change the $5 count from 2 to 4 and $1 from 5 to 10.
5. Run again. All three $12 sales paid with a $20 bill complete. Opening:
   $30.00; completed-sale receipts: $36.00; ending drawer: $66.00.
Remaining mix: three $20 bills, one $5 and one $1.
6. Download the replay text, or use Print replay. Use Save inputs to preserve
your scenario; Open saved inputs restores it and you rerun to recalculate.

WHY THE FIRST EXAMPLE STOPS
Opening: two $5 bills and five $1 bills. First buyer owes $12 and hands over
$20. The replay returns $8 as one $5 plus three $1 bills. The drawer now has
one $20, one $5 and two $1 bills, worth $27. The next $20 payment requires
another $8 in change. The small bills total only $7. The incoming $20 does
not solve the mismatch. The blocked sale is not added to receipts or drawer.
The revised $30 mix is a teaching example, not a cash-carrying recommendation.

MAKE IT YOUR OWN
- Enter actual counts for the denominations you intend to carry, not amounts.
- Enter a realistic final amount due, including any applicable taxes, discounts
or cash rounding. The tool does not determine tax or rounding requirements.
- Each practice buyer tenders one denomination, with quantity 1 to 200; total
tender and final price must each be at most $500. Mixed-denomination tender
is not supported. Use 1 to 20 sales and 0 to 200 per opening denomination.
- Put potential early sales in order. Include awkward prices, repeated $20
payments and exact-payment cases. These are assumptions, not predictions.
- Inspect the change given on each successful sale. Incoming tender is added
before change is made. The solver uses only available counts, but does not
optimize the whole sequence. Different earlier choices can alter outcomes.
- If a replay stops, later rows are not tested. Change the inputs and rerun.
Every run restarts from the opening float; it does not accumulate sales.
- Blank or malformed fields produce an error. Editing inputs clears the old
results so you do not mistake a previous result for the current scenario.

SAVE, PRINT AND PRIVACY
No automatic saving or cloud storage. Reloading or closing loses unsaved
inputs. Save inputs downloads a JSON file; your browser may ask where to save.
The tool has no network requests, tracking scripts, cookies or external fonts.
Do not enter customer names or sensitive transaction details: they are not
needed. The saved scenario contains your counts and assumed prices/tender.
Printing uses the browser print dialog. Paper, margins and page breaks vary.
Keep the file with your own records; it is not an official cash report.

LIMITATIONS
This is a rehearsal, not a payment processor, till, profit tracker, accounting
system, security guide or promise that you will never run out of change.
No refunds, tips, withdrawals, cash drops, card payments, tax calculations,
counterfeit detection or multi-drawer support. $1 coins/bills and $2 bills,
half-dollars and other supported values are counted by face value.
Check actual cash by hand. Passing one sequence does not prove preparedness
for every customer order, payment mix or change-giving strategy.
